AHUs Equipments Properties

Properties for equipments supporting in Air Handling include Split Unit, Close Control Unit and Cabinet with Hot Water connection are summarized below.

Air Intake Diameter Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets outside diameter (D1) of Air Intake connection at End1.
Air Intake Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets the straight connection length (L1) at End1.
Air Intake Side Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets offset distance between End1 connect point and side of box. Minimum offset equals radius of Air Intake.
Air Intake Top Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets offset distance between End1 connect point and top of box. Default offset equals radius of Air Intake.
Base Body | Width Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets width of base of unit.
Body | Height Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets height of the body, including control box.
Body | Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets height of the condenser body.

  • Sets horizontal offset to coil inlet from the side.
Coil Inlet Top Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets vertical offset to coil inlet from the top.

  • Puts heating/cooling coil and drain connections on one of the above sides of unit.

  • Sets one of the above sides of the control box to place inlet of coil.

  • Sets one of the above sides of the control box to place outlet of coil.

Type01unit always has connection1 and connection2 predefined to Duct–Grille. Type02 to Grille–Grille and Type03 to Duct–Duct.

  • Puts End2 connection on one of the above sides of unit.
Not both Connection1 and Connection2 sides be assigned bottom, Connection1 sets to top.

  • Sets connection 2 of control unit ducted or grilled type.
Connection | End Type fl -<numeric value>
  • Sets and sizes end with a flange connection.
m -<numeric value>
  • Sets and sizes end with a male connection.
fe -<numeric value>
  • Sets and sizes end with a female connection.
Separate End Type entries for each End Spec with a semi colon.

Example: fl-2;fe-.13 creates a flange at End1 with size 2, and a female connection at End2 with an overall reduction of component's dimensions of .13

Cooling Coil Inlet | Side Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets horizontal offset to cooling coil inlet from the side.
Cooling Coil Inlet | Top Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets vertical offset to cooling coil inlet from the top.
Cooling Outlet Coil | Side Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets horizontal offset to cooling coil outlet from the side.
Cooling Outlet Coil | Top Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets vertical offset to cooling coil outlet from the top.
Cooling Coil | Type
  • 0-none
  • 1-plumbing
  • 2-electrical
  • Sets the type of cooling coil.
Type plumbing adds provision for inlet/outlet of pipes.

The Heating Coil Type is always set opposite to that of Cooling Coil Type. Both should not be none type, at least one type is set plumbing

Drain | Bottom Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets vertical offset to drain outlet from the bottom.
Drain Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets length of drain outlet.
Drain | Outer Diameter Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets outside diameter of drain connection.
Drain | Side Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets horizontal offset to drain outlet from the side.
Duct Connection Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets length for the grille connection at end 1.
Front Body Height Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets height of the front body of the fitting, less than Body Height.
Gas Inlet | Diameter Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets outside diameter of Gas Inlet.
Gas Inlet | Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets the straight length of Gas Inlet.
Gas Inlet | Side Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets offset distance between Gas Inlet connect point and side of box.
Gas Inlet | Top Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets offset distance between Gas Inlet connect point and top of box.
Grille Connection Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets length for the grille connection at end 2.
Heating Coil Inlet | Side Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets horizontal offset to heating coil inlet from the side.
Heating Coil Inlet | Top Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets vertical offset to heating coil inlet from the top.
Heating Coil Outlet | Side Offset Positive <numeric value>

Heating Coil | Type

  • Sets the type of heating coil.
Type plumbing adds provision for inlet/outlet of pipes.

The Cooling Coil Type is always set opposite to that of Heating Coil Type. Both should not be none type, at least one type is set plumbing.

Modular Type
  • 1- Condensing
  • 2- Atmospheric
  • Sets modular type. Drain properties effect when type is set to Condensing.
No. of Column <integer>
  • Sets number of columns of radiator boxes in modular.
No. of Rows <integer>
  • Sets number of rows of radiator boxes in modular.
   
Return | Diameter Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets outside diameter of Return Outlet.
Return | Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets the straight length of Return Outlet.
Return | Side Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets offset distance between Return connect point and side of box.
Return | Top Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets offset distance between Return connect point and top of box.
Service Area Side
  • 1-Back
  • 2-Left
  • 3-Right
  • 4-All
  • Sets the location or surface on the unit for inlet and outlet connections.

    Side “All” sets all connections on top, except drain on back.

Service Thickness Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets distance between modular boxes and service panel, allowing sufficient gap.
Supply Diameter Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets outside diameter of Supply Inlet.
Supply Length

  • Sets the straight length of Supply Inlet.
Supply Side Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets offset distance between Supply connect point and side of box.
Supply Top Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets offset distance between Supply connect point and top of box.
Tag <alpha-numeric characters>
  • Sets tag value visible in output of drawing composition in dynamic view. Separate tag strings with a semi colon.
